Our community of parents, administrators, teachers, business and civic leaders have come together to organize a foundation on behalf of Harmony Leland Elementary School.
We are excited to announce that the Harmony Leland Elementary School (HLES) Foundation will operate under the Cobb Schools Foundation as a Local School Fund and you are invited to donate today in support of the purchase of technology resources for HLES! Specifically, we are raising funds for four class sets of iPads, special storage carts for the tablets and color printers (and ink). We will have more information to share with you soon. Please sign up for our mailing list to stay informed! However, you and your family may start donating online via the Cobb Schools Foundation website today! Please be sure to select Harmony Leland for your gift designation. Thank you for your generosity and support of our students!
The Cobb Schools Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing financial resources to enrich and enhance education in the Cobb County Public School District. Established in 1999, the Foundation is committed to sustaining the exceptional standards of Cobb County Public Schools. A Board of Trustees that is representative of the Cobb County community governs the Foundation, fostering the belief that community involvement in public education is essential to providing and sustaining the level of education that is expected in Cobb County schools.
What is a Local School Fund?
The Cobb Schools Foundation supports and manages funds for the foundations of 35 individual Cobb schools, allowing them to raise funds for their individual schools without the constraints of other school fundraising organizations. Our Local School Funds have raised over $1.6 million for the benefit of our schools.
